GCHQ consider the impact of domestication of animals on dogs and humans

On Tuesday 22nd October our GCHQ group ‘Girls Contemplating Hard Questions’, led by College student Amani K-A, considered the impacts of domestication syndrome on dogs’ welfare alongside the benefits of the human-canine relationship; including on the levels of the hormones oxytocin and cortisol. A very interesting topic, thank you Amani. Our next GCHQ meeting will on Tuesday 19th November at 2pm and we will be welcoming Will Wareing, an eccentric and engaging speaker, and considering how our environment impacts how we learn.
