Bathing in poetry...Thursday 3rd October was National Poetry Day and many students are all busily writing their poems on the theme of ‘Truth’. As well as a poetry assembly this week, in which we heard some great poems from members of Poetry Club, Year 9 also wrote a collective poem during their trip to Bath. It is made up of fragments of observations at the Roman Baths and was written there too... with some assistance from Russonia, a Roman woman. A short extract is below:
