Year 4 had great fun shaking up some drinks to find out which one held the most carbon dioxide, making it the fizziest. The girls had to observe, listen and measure the changes.
They saw a difference in the weight of the drink before and after. The class discovered that carbon dioxide has weight, and had been released from the bottle after shaking and carefully unscrewing the lid. The drinks were now lighter because of this.
Afterwards, they used their scientific knowledge to make raisins dance.
