Payment of Fees

Fees must be paid by the Bank Direct Debit system. The form can be obtained from the school or Trust Head Office. Fees are paid annually or termly in advance or in twelve monthly instalments, four per term.

Registration and Entrance Examination Fees

A non-returnable registration fee of £125 is charged for the Nursery, Prep and Senior Schools, £150 for the College and £200 for all overseas applicants.

On accepting a place, a fee of £750 is payable, which is retained as a deposit and returned after the student's final term. This deposit is forfeited if the place is not taken up for reasons other than not achieving the required GCSE grades for admission into the College.

Sibling Discount

Parents with three or more children at the school at the same time will be eligible for a discount of 20% off fees for the third (and any subsequent) child. The discount will remain with the pupil until they leave the school.

Childcare Vouchers

The school accepts these vouchers for nursery and after school care.

Educational Maintenance Allowance

An EMA is a weekly payment of up to £30 given by the Welsh Government to certain College students to help with the cost of their education. To qualify for an EMA the household income must be £30,810 or less.

More information may be obtained from the Student Finance Wales information helpline on 0845 6028845 or the website on http://www.studentfinancewales.co.uk/.

Public Examination Fees

From the summer 2024 examination season, the cost of public examination entry will be applied to all students in Year 11 and above.

This will be a transparent additional charge for the actual cost of the number and type of subjects being sat at GCSE, IGCSE, AS and A-levels, tailored for each student. Currently the typical range is between £400 to £600 for GCSE students and £350 to £500 for A-level students. We will be in contact during the spring term before the student’s exams with a statement of exams entered and their associated costs.

Recipients of a means-tested bursary will not be required to pay exam fees if they receive an award of 50% or higher, with a pro-rata reduction applied in-line with their assessed award for those on lower award levels.
