Congratulations to those swimmers who took part in the GDST Junior Schools Swimming Gala which was held in Northampton High School on Tuesday 3rd October. The early start did not deter our swimmers from achieving excellent results, and their performances in both the individual and team events were truly amazing. Carys H reached the finals of both the 25m Breaststroke and the 25m Freestyle, Ella H the 25m Butterfly and Carys M the 25m Backstroke. Honor F achieved an outstanding result by qualifying for the final of the 50m Backstroke and then taking 2nd place in the 50m Freestyle final. Credit must also go to the rest of the team - Daisy B, Eleni S, Amber P, Abigail S, Celeste R and Phoebe C - who swam so well against tough opposition from 19 fellow GDST schools.
