Marketing the Special Olympics

A team of five Year 10 girls was selected from over 4000 students across Wales to compete in this year’s Coca Cola Real Business Challenge Regional Final held at the SWALEC stadium. The girls were tasked with creating a media campaign to promote the Special Olympics that will be held in Sheffield this July. This involved creating a promotional poster, an infographic and a radio advert. In addition to this, they had to present a workable charity event to raise funds. The competition was intense and this year’s finalists were of an exceptionally high standard. The Howell’s girls worked tirelessly and presented a fantastic ‘Vintage Fair’ idea alongside a very strong poster and radio advertisement. Their work was creative and professional and the judges clearly had a difficult task in choosing a winner.  The Howell’s team narrowly missed first place, but were very deserving runners up. Well done to Razanne A, Ellora S, Miriam R, Aya K and Talia G.
