Trinity H (Year 7) and her pony Taz were excited to take part in the June Summer Show at The David Broome Event Centre in Chepstow, a three day event with riders from all over England and Wales, with ponies who have won and been placed at the highest levels taking part.
She achieved two thirds in Junior Intro 2'0ft classes on each of days, and also took third in the Novice Working Hunter pony class on Saturday, the first time Trinity has competed in this class.
The weekend culminated in a superb victory yesterday in The Junior Training 2'3 class. There were 29 entries in this class with 16 of them going clear after jumping the first round of ten jumps. Trinity led from start to finish winning in a very competitive time of 31.96 seconds, beating her nearest rival by over 2 seconds!
This was Trinity's first win at Broomes - a real accomplishment as she's only been riding for 3 years and has only been riding Taz for 22 months.
