Nursery news, 9th - 13th May

This week the girls had a visit from Pumba the African snail. He was absolutely enormous and his favourite food is lettuce and cucumber. They talked about the snails they can find in their garden and went on a snail hunt. In cookery the girls made rice cake seascape biscuits and in Forest School they went on a plant hunt as they are going to be learning about how plants grow. In PE they have been moving like sea creatures, crawling like crabs, flapping their wings like sea gulls, gliding around the room like sea turtles and making body shapes like starfish.
