Senior Choir Sings for the Llandaff Christmas Lights

On the evening of Wednesday 30th November Howell’s Senior Choir, accompanied by staff, braved the arctic temperatures to take part in the celebrations to switch on the Llandaff Christmas Lights. The evening was hosted by BBC weather presenter Sue Charles and there were appearances from Santa and The Grinch. The special guest was Britain’s Got Talent finalist, Jodie Bird, who entertained the crowd with performance of All I Want For Christmas and, aptly, Let it Go from the film Frozen. The Senior Choir wowed the audience with a selection of festive favourites and led the communal carol singing, accompanied by the Cathedral School brass band.  It was a lovely evening and the choir sang heartily, looking very festive in their Father Christmas hats. Many thanks to Miss Cooksey, who stepped in at the last minute to conduct the choir, and to all the staff who supported the evening.
