Wednesday 30th April marked the Rotary Interact handover from the outgoing Year 13 committee to the newly formed Year 12 committee. The outgoing committee are going to be a hard act to follow. They have raised over £1600 this year for the Teenage Cancer Trust, the 5Cs, Sandville and Alalay through a variety of events including a quiz night, American lunch, charity staff v 6th form netball match, cake sales and their food stall at the Christmas Fayre. The chain of office was passed from the outgoing presidents, Anushka S. and Bryony T. to new presidents Issy H. and Anna C. at a celebratory meal at TGI Fridays in Cardiff, which was well attended by members of both committees – Grace B., Carys G., James Y., Maddie E., Izzy E., Alex P., Susie R., Sara L., Lucy T. and Fran B. The Year 13 students were congratulated on all their hard work and achievements this year.
