Our outgoing and incoming Interact Presidents (Bryony and Anushka, Anna and Issy) were invited to the meeting at Whitchurch Golf Club alongside Interactors from The Cathedral School and Whitchurch High School to talk about their fund-raising successes this academic year and their plans for the next twelve months. Steve Finch, Rotary President, was very complimentary about the good work carried out by all the Interactors and was very keen to pledge the support of the Rotarians in their upcoming endeavours.
An annual prize in memory of Rotarian Paul Spencer is awarded to a student from each of the three schools, recognising outstanding contributions to Rotary Interact. Carys G. (Year 13) was congratulated for her commitment to the role of Treasurer and for all her hard work behind the scenes of every Rotary Interact event throughout her time in the College. We were delighted to see Carys receive this well-deserved award for all her hard work and enthusiasm in organising charitable fund-raising events, and counting all the money raised! Well done, Carys.
