On Friday 9th May 2014 Howell’s hosted its second Charity Golf Day at the luxurious Vale Resort. A group of intrepid golfers braved windy conditions to enjoy a round of golf on the Lakeside course. Before they set off the golfers enjoyed bacon and vegetarian baguettes. After freshening up guests were treated to a drinks reception, presentations and delicious dinner in La Cucina. The auctioneer and parent, Andrew Thomas, presided brilliantly over an auction which included lots generously donated by the WRU, Neil Boobyer, Sytner Cardiff BMW, E-Teach and Cardiff Blues. It was lovely to welcome parents, Hywelians, friends and businesses for what was a great occasion.
