Nursery news, 15th-19th September

This week the girls have been playing lots of games to help them learn the names of their new friends - from pass the ball and a tap tap box game created by two of the Nursery girls. They had an exciting day on Wednesday and Thursday as they had their visit to the pool with Mrs Griffiths and Mrs Jarvis who will be teaching them to swim.    They are all ready and excited to start our swimming lessons next week.

The girls have nearly completed their cave and have spent time foraging for natural items in their forest to put inside.  They had lots of fun decorating it with the leaves they found during our walk.  They have also  been finding out about their special author Roald Dahl and have enjoyed listening to some of his stories. On Friday they had a very exciting 'yellow' day - from yellow collaging and making leaf foxes to sailing their boats along a 'real' chocolate river.
