The Young Enterprise Cardiff and Vale Final event was hosted at Cardiff City Hall this week and Howell’s took three Year 12 teams along with their fresh and innovative business ideas. Team Sterling had created their own unique wooden toy ‘Mi Shell’, Team Foreign Policy were hoping to solve a problem for cinema goers with their ‘Cuppa Stuff’ and Team Snug as a Bug presented their “must-have” kit for festival goers. The teams competed against a variety of schools and colleges with equally innovative ideas. All three teams impressed the judges with their enthusiasm and energy, but it was Team Snug as a Bug who were awarded ‘The Best Presentation 2014’ for their fun-filled festival pitch. Well done to everyone involved.
