It was a pleasure to welcome a record number of Hywelians to their annual Summer Lunch on Saturday 30th June, which took place in the beautiful restored Great Hall. Our doors were open from 11am for guests to enjoy a tour of the school before drinks were served. During the tours it was lovely to hear memories of their time at Howell’s, and the Hywelians were delighted to be some of the first visitors to the new Sports Pavilion. A delicious lunch followed the AGM, and the Hywelians were excited to hear from Sally Davis and about life at Howell’s today and plans for the future. It was a lovely occasion and it was particularly special to welcome to two big groups from the classes of 1988 and 1968, who were celebrating their 30th and 50th anniversaries of leaving Howell’s. We look forward to welcoming Hywelians to various events throughout the next year.
