A number of girls in the Prep School were selected to sit the annual Junior Maths Challenge set by the United Kingdom Mathematics Trust. The aim of the Maths Challenge is to stimulate mathematical problem solving and is aimed at students in Year 8 or below . It is the UK's most popular mathematics competition with over 300 000 students taking part each year.
We are so proud and very impressed that three of our Year 6 girls achieved awards this year:
Elizabeth J—Silver award
Isobel P and Diya—Bronze awards
They will be receiving their certificates shortly. Well done to all of the girls who sat the test including those in Year 4 and 5—it was a really tough challenge and we are proud of them all!
