Congratulations to our Year 8 and Year 9 public speaking teams, who competed in the Rotary Youth Speaks competition on Tuesday 14th January at Llanishen High School. Speaking on the topics of 'A Walk on the Wildside, our connection with nature is more important than we might think' and 'Big Brother is watching; privacy is impossible' both teams delivered their debates with confidence. Despite some rather tough competition, Mia H was awarded best opposer for the intermediate stage and onto the next round of the competition are our winning Year 8 team: Milly B, Anna J and Abi S. This was the Year 8 team’s first debate of this kind and we wish them luck for the next round.
