On Friday 10th July our annual Founders’ Day Assembly took place in the Sports Hall. The whole school, from Nursery to College, was joined by 20 members of the Hywelian Guild, for this lovely occasion. During assembly we heard about the history of Howell’s and how students have been fundraising for bursaries, and we watched part of the latest instalment of our Oral History Project, which was a real treat. There was a performance from Year 10 students who performed a wonderful Welsh medley which they had arranged themselves. Following assembly everyone enjoyed delicious refreshments during the extended Thomas Howell break.
