The Year 5 and Year 6 Cross-Country teams ran in the South Wales Finals at Trelai Park on Thursday 10th November after qualifying through the Cardiff Regional Event in October. The Year 6 team, comprising of Meghan S, Anna H, Lydia P and Sophie D, ran very well and finished 10th out of the 15 teams in attendance. This was a great achievement in what proved to be a very fast race! The Year 5 team (Amber P, Issy C, Grace C & Carys H) were outstanding and all four of the girls finished in the top 18 places in a race of over 80 girls. As a result, the team finished first overall and were overwhelmed with excitement! Incredibly well done to all girls who ran at the finals!
