Bursaries
The GDST Bursary Fund provides financial assistance to enable suitably qualified students, whose parents could not otherwise afford the fees, to enter the Senior School and College.
Means-tested full bursaries covering 100% of the school fees are available for students entering the school in Year 7 and Year 12.
For further information please contact Chrissie Hall-Davis, Chrissie.Hall-Davis@how.gdst.net who will explain the next steps of this process.
Scholarships
Howell's School, Llandaff awards a range of scholarships, which may include Academic, English, Mathematics and Music for pupils joining Year 7. A scholarship is an award for excellence, which serves primarily as an acknowledgement of the scholar’s achievements; they have a modest financial award, usually to a value of 5% of the school fees.
Honorary Scholarships
Scholarship applicants who are narrowly unsuccessful in obtaining a scholarship will be considered for the status of Honorary Scholar. Honorary Scholarships give no financial benefit but recognise a girl's potential and commitment to a subject area.
