Digital Heroes

On Thursday 5th July, our five Digital Heroes from Years 8 and 10 visited the residents of Ty Llandaff to share their knowledge of technology. Prior to the visit the students were trained in coaching, active listening and how to adapt their language to an older person. On arrival all of our heroes quickly introduced themselves and settled into finding out more about the residents. Excitement was in the air as Cliff Richard videos, pictures of childhood schools and Spanish translation apps were presented. The hour-long visit flew by, and students were quickly bidding the residents farewell. Junior School Heroes will be trained in September, and we look forward to visiting Ty Llandaff regularly in the next term.
