We were delighted to hear the news that Francesca C, Year 10, has been selected for this year’s British Dressage Youth Foundation Academy as a 2020 Foundation Academy athlete.
Places on the academy are highly contested and Francesca is one of just two riders selected from Wales. She will now have a fantastic opportunity to attend several training camps throughout 2020/21 and will receive expert coaching and development performance sessions from international dressage rider, test ride before international and list 1 judges and receive sports coaching with applied sports scientist Simon Cushman.
The aim of the academies is to develop all round equestrian athletes and Francesca is thrilled to have been selected and cannot wait to attend her first training camp this October. Many congratulations, Francesca, what a tremendous achievement.
