Last week our Fairtrade stall was a roaring success! The Fairtrade reps worked tirelessly selling products and working out change after school. They also took part in assembly on Wednesday, which was a good reminder to everyone to come and visit us. We sold out of chocolate, cola, worry dolls, trinket boxes, animal figures, badges, bookmarks, notepads, pens … everything! We had to shut up shop early on Thursday as we had nothing left to sell. All the proceeds of the sale go back to the Fair Dos Shop in Canton. We certainly raised awareness of Fairtrade this week and we are very grateful to everyone who came to visit our stall and bought Fairtrade goods from us. If anyone was disappointed not to get a set of worry dolls and would still like some, please let Mrs Jones know as she has a list and will get some more. They cost £1.50. Thank you to Mrs Williams for helping to set up the stall and to the Fairtrade reps for all their hard work: Isabelle and Lydia (Reception), Nancy and Eve (Year 1), Malak (Year 2), Sophia and Tatjana (Year 3), Lili and Mali (Year 4), Anna and Milly (Year 5) and Lauren and Isabelle (Year 6).
