On Thursday 9 November, we took a team of nine swimmers to the GDST swimming gala at Oxford High School. We had a junior team of five girls from years 8 and 9 and also four swimmers from the College. The junior team swam first, and Imogen F and Saffron B both qualified for the finals which took place later in the afternoon. Imogen swam in the Freestyle race and Imogen in the Breastroke. Both acquitted themselves well against tough competition.
The senior team swam later in the morning and Marnie B, India B and Claudia M all qualified for the finals later in the day. All girls swam well with Claudia M winning the the 50M Freestyle.
Well done to both teams!
