Greenfingered Gardeners Get To Work

It might have been one of the hottest days of the year so far, but at lunchtime on Monday 19th June, a group of green fingered grandparents and parents, armed with watering cans, brushes, black bags and lots of water worked their magic on the Nursery garden. Plants were watered, weeds were cleared and the outside space was left spick and span and ready for the Nursery girls when they went back outside in the afternoon. Everyone did a wonderful job and the garden was worthy of a medal at the Chelsea Flower Show by the time they had finished.  The group's amazing efforts were rewarded with well-earned, ice-cold cold drinks in the hub@howells. Thank you so much to everyone who joined us and worked so hard throughout the afternoon, and we look forward to the next session.
