Junior Sculling Regatta

One of the most anticipated spring events among junior rowers, the Junior Sculling Regatta is always a fun event and usually provides good racing conditions. Held on Dorney Lake on Saturday 5th May, our rowers were keen to get out on the water and meet the competition. It was tough going for the teams as the temperature rose, but Caitlan and her partner got into the WJ18x2 ‘A’ final and came 6th, and Talia and Liv got into the WJ17x2 ‘A’ final and came 4th, narrowly missing a bronze medal. Izzy and Lottie showed excellent stamina in the WJ15 quad and Katie and her rowing partner won the C final for WJ15 x 2, taking Maidenhead in the last 200m in a very exciting final. An excellent day's rowing, girls, well done.
