We were delighted to host this year's Welsh Regional Heat of the Kids' Lit Quiz on Wednesday 21st November. There was an electric atmosphere in the Sports Hall as 88 students from 13 schools across Wales took part in this hugely popular event. Many congratulations to all the students, including two excellent teams from Howell’s, who did extremely well and demonstrated their extensive literary knowledge. The overall winning team was the boys’ team from Y Pant School in Pontyclun, who now go on to represent the Wales at the UK final in London so we wish them the very best of luck in the next stage of the competition. It was fantastic to welcome quiz master extraordinaire Wayne Mills back in Cardiff who led the evening so well. I would like to thank Mrs Wilks, Mrs Norman, Miss Davis and everyone who made the event such a triumph.
