Martha’s Walk

The scorching sunshine we have had over the recent months meant that this year’s Martha’s Walk in aid of the Martha Bursary Award took a slightly different path to the one that was originally intended.  This year, rather than scale the heights of Pen y Fan in the searing heat, a group of intrepid Year 9 students, staff, parents and Martha’s Mum and Dad set off on the morning of Monday 9th July to walk to Cardiff Bay. Upon arrival in the Bay they all enjoyed a well-deserved ice-cream in Cadwaladers before making their way on foot back to Howell’s where they eagerly tucked in to lunch. Very well done to everyone who took part.
