Science Week 2019

Students from Years 7 – 13 have been actively engaged in this year’s Science Week. At the start of the week, Year 7 were treated to encounters with a range of exotic animals (including holding a very large snake), and potential medics from Years 12 and 13 attended an undergraduate level anatomy lecture, including real specimens. Science Club enjoyed fire-writing and dry-ice, and liquid nitrogen demos in ‘Cool Physics’ followed on well from Chemistry’s “Fire Demonstrations”. College Prefects enthusiastically ran treasure-hunt quizzes throughout the week and the week concluded with a screening of ‘Hidden Figures’ in the library.
