Last Thursday, 29th November, Year 1 welcomed Hywelian and author, Angela Fish. She came to talk to us about writing books. Mrs Fish told us where she writes her first ideas, showing us one of her notebooks, and she gave us lots of ideas to make our characters really interesting. We asked her lots of questions and she read to us from some of her books. At the end, Mrs Fish gave everyone a little bottle of bubbles to help with our use of adjectives: blow a bubble and think of interesting describing words. We really enjoyed the visit and learned so many new things. Thank you very much, Mrs Fish.
