Swim Wales Short Course Championships 2019

Four Howell's students took the plunge this weekend at the Swim Wales Short Course Championships at the Wales National Pool in Swansea. Imogen F Year 10, Honor F, Year 8, Sophie D, Year 7 and Adam M, Year 12 swam over the two days of the competition, and acquitted themselves extremely well, with great dignity and determination.
A special mention must go to Honor, who achieved eight golds and one silver out of nine events, with seven personal bests and was understandably delighted. She received eight plaques for being a Welsh winner too as there were many English clubs there. She is now number 2 in the UK for the 100 free and currently holds nine British times.

Well done to all ours swimmers!
