As part of HeadsUp@Howell’s Week, Year 7 have been concentrating on talking and writing about things that make them happy through the medium of French. (j'aime , j'adore, je suis fan de...). They made a list of colours they love, animals they find beautiful, flowers they like the smell of, friends they like spending time with, music that makes them happy, and French words they like the sound of (papillon: butterfly / glace : ice cream / pamplemousse ; grapefruit etc..) , they worked on cognate adjectives about positivity (content, positif, joyeux, organise, optimiste...) and worked together to say their word of affirmation as a class in a very positive atmosphere! Bonne semaine de sante mentale tout le monde!
