On Wednesday 15th March, eight Year 12 students took part in the Regional European Youth Parliament at the Pierhead Building in Cardiff Bay. Hema N, Ishrat C, Rosie T, Gopikaa A, Imogen C, Rob L, Emme T and Catrin B presented the case for new regulations to decrease the incidence of hate crimes and took part in this debate and others on current issues. Their active, positive engagement and effective team-working resulted in their selection for the National European Youth Parliament to be held at Liverpool Hope University from June 29th - July 2nd this year.
