Congratulations to a number of individuals who have been selected to play Hockey for Wales in the upcoming Scottish Test Series. The tournament is due to take place at the end of March in Glasgow Hockey Centre; home of the 2014 Commonwealth Games. The U16s and U18s will play 3 games against Scotland to complete the series.
Lily who is only U15 age has been selected for the U18 squad, which is a truly outstanding achievement. William has also been selected to play in the boys' U18 squad, with Maisie (U15), Sophie (U15) and Ffion (goal keeper) selected to play in the U16 squad. With 3 of the 5 students being selected out of their age group we can say with confidence that we have some incredibly strong hockey players here at Howell’s who will certainly thrive when the new pitch arrives in the summer!
