Year 6 test their teamwork abilities making rafts

Last week, Year 6 were busy at work making their rafts to test in the pool. Students were asked to make a raft that would hold 6 people and carry them across the pool. It was an enjoyable task to test their teamwork abilities. The rafts were successful and only 5 bottles came off the rafts altogether.

Dahlia and Daisy said they thought that next time they should plan their rafts a bit better and have a good structure of the boats, since some of the boats were a bit small and didn’t hold everyone. All the materials used were from recycled plastic and scraps of used material.
