On Wednesday 25th and Thursday 26th September, Year 7 were fortunate enough to be able to experience an archaeological dig during their History lessons. They took part in the community dig on the site of a medieval cattle pound at the top of Llandaff High St, next to the 13th Century Bishop’s Castle. They enjoyed a workshop looking at artefacts, a storytelling session and the highlight of the visit was a chance to dig in the trenches working as a proper archaeologist. Year 7 thoroughly enjoyed the experience and we are very grateful to the Llandaff 50+ group who gave them the opportunity.
