This time of year is a very poignant one, especially when sharing it with the youngest members of our Howell's community. In the busy run-up to the festive season Remembrance Day seems to be one of the few moments when we take time to stop and reflect on what has been and what is to come. For our little ones remembrance is about happy moments shared with family, friends or in school. A thought, a feeling of love and happiness was the string that united all their memories. from playing in the park, to cuddles and kisses, and going to Folly Farm
And so it was together that the girls gathered in the entrance hall, their painted poppies laid, candle lit and hands held in friendship that they stopped on the 11th day of the 11th month, on the 11th hour and stood quietly for two minutes listening to the Last Post play. The silence said so much more than words.
